The group “Credo” has already started preparing for its 50th anniversary, which will be celebrated next year, by recording a new song, “Nekad und tejte”. It was made in collaboration with singer Sandija Viganti.
Sandija Vigante performed the song “Never and always” by Raimond Paul and Guntar Račas already in 2012, in a talent competition. A couple of years later, it was recorded by Andris Ārglis, but now a new version of the song has been made, and Sandija had the opportunity to perform it again, this time together with the legendary group “Credo”, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2024.
“We are already preparing for our anniversary and improving our repertoire. Of course, old hits are enough for us, but we plan to perform a couple of new songs as well. for the anniversary “We will celebrate”, but we will release it later. At the moment, we are happy with the new collaboration with Sandy. She sings very well and the producer of the song, Artūrs Palkevičs, did a great job as well!” “Credo” leader Guntis Veits is delighted.
Sandija Vigante: “This song is very dear to me – both the melody and the words touch me. The collaboration with Gunti started thanks to a televised dinner we attended together. This is also where the idea for this duet was born, which magically came to fruition!” It should be remembered that Sandya became famous after participating in the “Okartes skatuve” and “X-Factors” talent contests, as well as with the songs “Let me have you”, “Ceļa uz tveči”, “Viegli nedomāt” and ” Our first summer”, in collaboration with Grafoman, Nikolai Puzikov and others.
