Bancamía and Finagro launched an agricultural development credit line for small rural producers this week. It has tariff conditions and special conditions and is assisted by the Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FAG).(Read here: Farmers affected by the winter wave will have aid and benefits).
This is the “AgroCrece” credit line that will benefit Bancamía rural entrepreneurs who have shown good behavior in financial management and business development. This will finance up to 100% of the capital needs for agricultural, livestock, aquaculture, fisheries, environmental, artisanal and agro-industrial productive activities.
An initial tranche of 10,000 million dollars will be executed for this line. Rural women and young people will benefit from important tariff advantages to strengthen their production units.
The credit line will be used to finance working capital for the planting and maintenance of short-cycle crops, major and minor species, aquaculture and fisheries operations, commercial forest plantations, among other businesses.
