Creditors rely on Austrian and US law firms for Fisker restructuring

With more than 3.78 billion euros in claims, it is one of the largest bankruptcies in Austrian economic history after Signa and by far the largest ever in Styria. The US car manufacturer Fisker has now presented a restructuring plan for its Austrian subsidiary.

This was accepted by the Regional Court for Civil Matters in Graz (LGZ). It provides for the legally required minimum quota of 20 percent for creditors. Subject to any legal remedies, the restructuring plan will come into force at the beginning of October 2024.
