Regional economic activity seeks to raise its head after a year of pandemic, and when the second wave of Covid that is already stalking the metropolitan area, is at the doors.
In this framework, all the initiatives that tend to strengthen the links in the productive chain of the regional economy and give financial fluidity to activities such as agriculture, which have been hit for a long time, are essential.
In this sense, the economic promotion agency of the Province of Neuquén, Centro PyME-ADENEU, enabled a financing line for the acquisition of wintering animals.
The sales season for this segment ends in June. For this reason, the objective of the loan is to offer the province’s bovine livestock producers assistance at a promotional rate, in order to promote the fattening and finishing of slaughtered animals within the Neuquén territory, thus adding value above all the links in the livestock production chain.
Livestock producers who access the credit line will receive financing of up to 750,000 pesos, with a six-month grace period and up to twelve months of amortization, including the grace period. Depending on the amount required by the producer, a guarantee will or will not be required.
The objective of the soft credit is to promote bovine fattening and the termination of slaughtered animals within Neuquén territory.

This initiative is part of the Provincial Bovine Livestock Plan, a state policy that integrates the vision of the public-private sector and the different links of the sectoral value chain, in line with the strategic axis of expanding the economic matrix that promotes the Five-Year Plan 2019-2023. The financial incentive also strengthens the supply of cattle in the foot-and-mouth disease-free area without vaccination, located south of the border drawn by the Colorado River.
Regarding the requirements that are requested to apply for the credit, the interested parties can present the documentation in person at the offices of Centro PyME-ADENEU, also by post, or in digital form to the emails [email protected] .ar and / or [email protected].
