Some of ING’s customers suddenly see someone else’s credit card in the ING app or in My ING. All these people are the credit card of the same person, ING confirms after questions from the NOS.
It concerns one name and the first and last four digits of that credit card number, a spokesperson said. “We are very sorry that this is happening,” said the spokesperson. According to her, other people cannot do anything with this data or credit card. According to her, you can’t click on the credit card in the app either.
According to the spokesperson, this concerns a small part of the customers. The spokesperson is not yet able to give an estimate of the number. ING has a total of 8 million retail customers.
