Credit card details should not be disclosed…

You are only storing your credit card details on your biometrically secured, highly encrypted and one of the most secure personal mobile phones on the market.

You can then also use Apple Pay or Apple Wallet and leave your physical credit card at home for payments. The risk of your plastic card being stolen and you becoming a victim of credit card fraud is much higher than that someone can access the encrypted data on your phone… no one can then steal your card and your digital credit card is protected by space technology that creates and compares a precise map of your face and can be used almost anywhere.

And as for your payment options, you are not forced to use a credit card… you can also use PayPal, which has been a reliable payment service provider for ages.

Incidentally, it is not Apple that decides which payment models the respective app developers offer, but rather the developers’ decision… I understand your frustration… a few of the apps that I bought as a one-off purchase have switched to the subscription model and you only get updated functions if you take out a subscription. If you no longer have access to the functions that were available with the one-off purchase… and I particularly emphasize the word “PURCHASE”… you can try to make a complaint about the purchase via the App ID management under “Purchases”. There you can also explain how you were “cheated” by the developer. It might also be better to contact the support or forum of the respective developer and not Apple!

But to complain that a developer puts an app on the store for free and then decides that he wants to be paid for his work or expenses (e.g. for servers) is bordering on impudence. Be happy that you were able to use the app for free, but quality and functionality have their price. Especially when an app is still being refined and improved.

You can also buy credit cards and use them to purchase apps via the App Store.

Maybe you’re wondering whether Android might be better for you… there are lots of great free apps… some of them don’t even require you to enter your credit card details to empty your account… isn’t that great? Super convenient!

Because if you don’t trust Apple to protect your data on your device as best as possible, then I don’t understand why you’re buying an iPhone. It just looks cool in your hand, right?

Otherwise, all that remains to be said is that your criticism and your moaning will not end up where you would like them to… this is a customer forum in which more technically experienced customers help less technically experienced ones and use their experiences as customers and users to help other customers…
