Creators of Absolver announce kung fu game Sifu for PC, PS4 and PS5 – gaming – news

Sloclap, the developer of Absolver, has been working behind the scenes on Sifu for two years. That is a new kung fu game, which should be released at the end of this year for Sony’s PlayStation 4 and 5. There will also be a PC version in the Epic Games Store.

Sifu is an action game with a third person perspective. Players take on the role of a young kunfu student. His entire family has been murdered by a mysterious gang and the goal of the game is to track down those killers and get their revenge. The game takes place in a fictional Chinese city. According to the makers gets the game intensive and realistic combat, reminiscent of combat from classic kung fu movies.

Sony showed the game on Thursday night in its State of Play broadcast and the game will appear for the PS4 and PS5, but there is also a pc version released through the Epic Games Store. A release date and price has not yet been announced.

Sifu is the second game from French studio Sloclap, which was set up by ex-Ubisoft employees who previously worked on Watchdogs. Absolver was the first game from the studio, that fighting game came out in 2017.
