Creator of The Bremen Town Musicians, animator Marina Voskanyants, has died: EADaily

Cartoonist, Honored Artist of Russia Marina Voskanyants died at the age of 90. This was announced by the editor-in-chief of the film studio Soyuzmultfilm Sergei Kapkov in his telegram channel.

“Another Soyuzmultfilm legend, the amazing animator Marina Konstantinovna Voskanyants died tonight,” – he wrote.

Her “business card” is Masha’s brilliant dance with a broom around the New Year tree in Boris Stepantsev’s film “The Nutcracker”. Kapkov added.

Marina Voskanyants was born on January 2, 1934 in Moscow, as a child she studied in the art studio of the Palace of Pioneers, and in 1952 she received her first prize as an artist for participating in an exhibition between -national in Delhi. In 1995 she graduated from the Moscow Art School, and from 1956 she was a student of animation courses at Soyuzmultfilm.

She took part in the creation of cartoons such as “Big Trouble”, “Three Fat Men”, “Thumbelina”, “The Tale of the Golden Cockerel”, “Film, Film, Film”, “Musicians of Bremen”, “In. Land of Unlearned Lessons”, “The Little Humpbacked Horse”, “The Blue Puppy”, “Three from Prostokvashino”, “The Magic Ring”, “The Secret of the Third Planet”, “Once Upon a Time There was a Dog ” and many, many others.
