PlayStation and Insomniac have made changes at the top for their upcoming Wolverine game. It is reported as a result of creative differences on the project.
As game journalist Stephen Totilo writes in his GameFile-news, Wolverine manager Brian Horton left the game this past summer. Sony confirmed that Horton has resigned, but would not comment on why.
Enter Marcus Smith and Mike Daly. They take on the roles of creative director and game director, respectively, which they also held on the acclaimed Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
The game was Wolverine released back in 2021but since then we haven’t heard much from the official side.
Horton – who was the boss of, among other things, Spider-Man: Miles Morales – has gone straight to Xbox. There he now sits in the chair of the leader for the new Project Dark, which is being developed by the Enterprise and Crystal Dynamics.
The news came about the next game Perfect Dark almost four years ago. The project must have been through several turbulent times, but this summer Xbox showed the game off again and he promised that he is still on the way.
