Indiekraf.com-Creating opportunities in the midst of the current covid-19 pandemic condition for all people is not easy, but with strong determination it seems that opportunities can be created. As did Didik Hermansyah, a resident of RT 08 RW 4, Sitirejo village, Wagir District, Malang Regency, who has pioneered the craft business using used clothes for the past few months.
Through the Bina Mitra Mandiri Gallery, he and a group of residents create various handicrafts in the form of flower vases from used clothes and coconut shells. Didik said he got the idea when the pandemic hit. His income from the internet cafe business that he runs is felt to be lacking, making him have to rack his brain to be able to generate ‘cash’.
