The new transitional government, headed by Prime Minister Raymond Ndong Sima, underwent changes on January 17, 2024 with the arrival of five new ministries.

In Gabon, the government now has 31 ministries. New ministerial departments were created and others detached to enable the acceleration of several projects. Among these ministries we note the detachment of the Ministry of Health from social affairs. The country now has the Ministry of Health on the one hand and that of Social Affairs on the other. Likewise, the government decided to create the Ministry of the Digital Economy and New Information Technologies, we also note, the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Human-Wildlife Conflict.

The Ministry of Industry is also registered as a new ministry. The transitional government has seen the appointment of a deputy prime minister in charge of Planning and Foresight. These ministries will be respectively led by Madame Nadine Natalie AWANANG epse ANATO, General Bonjean Frédérik MBAZA, Madame Arcadie Svetlana MINGUENGUI NDOMBA epse. NZOMA, Mr. François MBONGO RAFEMO BOURDETTE and finally the Deputy Prime Minister Alexandre Barro Chambrer.

The outgoing ministers were also registered in this government, this is the case of the Minister of Mines Hervé Patrick Opiangah replaced by Gilles Nembet. Just like in the Department of Labor and the Fight against Unemployment, previously headed by Solange Nguiakié, which is now in the hands of Adrien Nguema Mba. In the Civil Service, Raphaël Ngazouzet cedes the chair to Louise Boukandou. The Ministry of Commerce, SMEs/SMIs, responsible for income-generating activities also has a new boss, in the person of Perfecte Amouyeme Ollame, replacing Patricia Njapano. Among those leaving, there is also the Minister Delegate for Health and Social Affairs, Françoise Makaya, widow Mbou.
