The inhabitants of Sarcelles will soon have a Digital House to stay connected.

Supported by the Roissy-Pays-de-France agglomeration community, the new Maison du numérique in Sarcelles (Val-d’Oise) will bring together students, entrepreneurs and residents of the district from 2023. It will be located next door of the University Institute of Technology (IUT) of CY Cergy Paris University.

The call for tenders for this project has already been launched in February 2021. The laying of the first stone of this future Digital House is planned for June 2021. This public space should be operational from the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023. L architect Francis Soler took charge of the design of this circular building.

The total cost of this large-scale project amounts to € 9.2 million. The Roissy-Pays-de-France agglomeration community provided more than half of its funding. The Prefecture of Val-d’Oise, provided support of 600 k € within the framework of the France Relance plan. The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) also subsidized the project to the tune of € 1.9 million. In addition to the Region, which offered assistance of € 750k, the departmental council paid € 500k to finance this future Sarcelles digital house.
