Giving birth to diverse forests to germinate life is the path taken by Baptiste Trény for almost three years. A quest for this former Maif executive who, to the comfort of an office between four walls, prefers the spectacle of nature. Free. Invaluable. Even the curtain of rain that falls this Friday, October 20 in Plaine-d’Argenson does not wash away its wonder. It’s my driving force, breathes this father of two children, happy to see the water irrigating his utopia rooted in the earth since December 2021.
It is here, on this two-hectare plot of land devoid of its conifers, that this inspiring entrepreneur and his partner Elise Girard sowed their first seeds in the soil and minds, planting 1,527 trees of 33 different local species to recreate an ecosystem favorable to the preservation of biodiversity for a century.A long-term lease made possible thanks to the Real Environmental Obligation (ORE) land system and signed in the name of the living thanks to the financial support of 54 private actors and 534 citizens. A first green treasure brought to light thanks to foresters, ecologists, landscapers, nurserymen, back-to-work employees, schoolchildren and high school students. A way to do (yourself) good knowing that everything is going wrong.
