Offer (HO) – Real Work From Home Lecturers (KKN-DR) UIN Raden Intan Lampung in 2022 held a socialization with the theme of Prevention and Eradication of Mosquito Nests for the Creation of a Healthy Environment, Thursday (14/7/2022).
This socialization was filled by AD speakers. Infantry, S.KM as Health Promotion (Promkes) Head of the Task Implementation Unit (KUPT) of the Bunut Inpatient Community Health Center (Puskesmas). Way Ratai District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province.
In addition, the socialization held at the Ceringin Asri Village Office was also attended by Zaenab, S.KM as Promkes KUPT Bunut Inpatient Health Center, Ceringin Asri Village Apparatus, as well as 26 invited guests and KKN-DR students.
AD. Irfantri, S.KM explained that Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) caused by the Dengue virus is transmitted by the Aedes Aegypty mosquito.
“The causative factor could be because the water reservoir is a mosquito nest where the water is stagnant and left open,” explained AD.
He explained, as for the things that can be done together to eradicate and prevent mosquito nests is to do 3M Plus.
“Those are draining baths and water reservoirs, closing water reservoirs and burying used items that can hold water,” he said.
Then the pluses are recycling used goods so that they become new and reusable items, then using mosquito nets and mosquito repellent and closing the ventilation using gauze.
Furthermore, Rahadian Mareza as the chief executive explained that the purpose of holding the event apart from the real work program of KKN-DR was also to provide special benefits for the people of Ceringin Asri village.
“Hopefully the community can implement the knowledge that will be conveyed by the presenters, and create a healthy environment,” explained Reza. (red)
