Spiders in the interior
The greater the cold, the greater the desire of small animals to move to warm dwellings. Spiders move in the most, and in single-story family houses, the owners also have to deal with the occasional visit of mice.
Dark, dry corners are an ideal place for spiders, they will start spinning webs for several meters. At the same time, they multiply quickly. Carrying the spiders outside is not effective and killing them is not necessary. Just expel them ecologically.
Herbs against spiders
Spiders do not like the smell of herbs such as lavender, mint or eucalyptus. Place dried or live plants on windowsills or upper kitchen cabinets. If you don’t have a dried or fresh herb available, put a few drops of essential oil on a napkin and spread it around the apartment.
Lemon and orange for spiders
Citrus fruits are a powerful spider repellent. Cut up lemons, limes, oranges in the apartment or regularly drip citrus juice into glasses or paper towels. Citrus juice will take care not only of spiders, but also of a pleasant smell in the interior. Citrus fruits can replace scented candles with a selected scent. A romantic evening by the light of scented candles will force the spiders to look for a new home.
Spider spray
Buy peppermint extract or peppermint oil and mix it with water. Use a sprayer to spray the mixture in all places where spiders like to be. A mixture of white vinegar and water in a ratio of 1:1 has a similar repellent effect.
Regularly clean the gaps, windowsills and around the lights from cobwebs, destroying the webs and the unpleasant smell will drive the spiders to other refuges.
