How to invite other people to the group
New members can easily be invited to the group. For this purpose, the group administrator creates a link, which is then forwarded to the appropriate contacts. It works like this:
- Open WhatsApp group chat and click on the group name.
- Then tap “Invite to group with link” (iPhone) or “Invite with link” (Android).
- You can then choose where the relevant link will be shared – this can be directly on WhatsApp, but you can also create a QR code or copy the link to send it by email, for example.
By the way: WhatsApp groups can contain up to 1,024 people in total.
