Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The price of plane tickets in business class soared badly, after the soaring price of avtur. Price increases occurred on domestic and international flights, even business class for each flight.
Currently the Ministry of Transportation together with other stakeholders is trying to solve the problem of high ticket prices. The reason is that the price of flying tickets is caused by two main factors, namely the high price of aviation fuel tickets, and the decrease in operating aircraft.
“It must be realized that the price of avtur is very high, and there has been no decline, and currently the voice of the community is also a consideration. That’s why we will conduct another FGD to conduct a study. h=What the results will be, we’ll just have to wait,” said Spokesperson Adita Irawati when met at the Parliament Complex (20/6/2022).
Adita explained that the increase in ticket prices did not only occur in economy class, but also in business and international classes.
If you glance at it, on the platform for selling flight ticket prices, flight ticket prices, both domestic and international, are observed to have spiked.
For example, the ticket price for Jakarta – Singapore direct flights (25/6/2022) using Batik Air is priced at Rp. 13.75 million for one way.
Meanwhile, on (28/6/2022) ticket prices with the same route and class were priced at the lowest price of IDR 8.7 – 10.7 million with Batik Air. From before, it can still be redeemed at a price of IDR 3-5 million.
Meanwhile for domestic routes, such as Jakarta – Bali, business ticket prices are priced at IDR 6.7 million – IDR 7.5 million with Batik Air and Garuda Indonesia. Whereas previously it was only priced at Rp. 2 million.
