Curve Digital and DoubleMoose announce that Just Die Already will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch as well as for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Soon it will be time to step into the world of Just Die Already and take on the role of the Old Ones – those greedy folks whose pension payments are eating up all of our taxes, but who were in their prime when they were could afford a decent house without a mortgage eating up their entire paycheck every month.
Just Die Already is set in the near future, at a time when population growth has dropped to zero, presumably because wearing a mask all the time hampers any amorous encounters. As a result, no one is born, no one pays into the pension pot, and no one covers your living expenses.
To make matters worse, you have just been kicked out of your retirement home and your only option is to complete dangerous challenges to qualify for free care.
Either solo or in online multiplayer with four players, players can play Just Die Already and tick off dangerous challenges that put your life – and indeed every single bone in your body – in sheer danger.
You will be hit by cars, you will lose one limb or the other and you will hit the ground after being catapulted from a catapult – all to earn your place in the coveted old people’s home.
Just Die Already is an Old People Mayhem sandbox from the designer behind Goat Simulator, Armin Ibrisagic. It’s what the YouTube generation calls the “Grand Dad Auto VI” – at least that’s what the young people say.
