Sergio Aguero doesn’t know exactly when he’ll be back at FC Barcelona. The Argentinian was injured at the beginning of last month and seems to have to watch for another month, although he hopes to take action earlier himself.
Aguero is currently recovering from a calf injury. “It’s going well. I can’t predict when I’ll be back, but I’m moving forward and maybe I can join a few weeks earlier,” he tells RAC1.
Aguero is happy to call himself a Barcelona player. He made the transfer free of charge from Manchester City, the club he served for ten years. “I told my agent that I didn’t care about money. That I wanted to come to Barcelona, every player wants that. There are many players who would be willing to ask less to play at Barca, also given the situation of the club.”
The story went that Aguero wanted his contract terminated because his bosom friend Lionel Messi was on his way to the exit. “I don’t understand why this was talked about. When I signed, Leo hadn’t signed anything. That there would be a clause was made up. Because there was nothing.”
