The main newspapers, in their editions today, take stock of the current issue, namely theabsence of Napoli at the Maradona Cup, which will take place on December 14 a Riyadh between Barcelona e Boca Juniors.
There are two reasons for the non-participation of the club De Laurentiis at the event organized in honor of Diego Maradona.
The first is purely economic. Rayco Garcia, CEO Rg Sports Solutions, the agency in charge of the event, had come to Naples to talk to De Laurentiis last August 31st. The chat had taken place positively, then, as he himself confirmed, the turn around of the Neapolitan club.

De Laurentiis, as reported by the newspaper the Republic, he demanded five times as much to get the Naples to the event, that is five million euros.
The second is logistical, the Naples has always been against intercontinental travel during the season. Furthermore, the period is not the one indicated by the club, which would have given availability during the break for the Christmas holidays. Five days later the match against Milan and the Naples cannot afford, in terms of expenditure of physical and mental energy, the journey into Saudi Arabia.
