PZPN is looking for a new head coach of the Polish national team. Roman Kołtoń informed on the “Prawda Futbolu” channel that the activists contacted Diego Simeone on this matter.

However, PZPN also considered other foreign options. Roman Kołtoń confirmed that the activists contacted Roberto Martinez, but also talked to Diego Simeone.
The reaction of the Atletico Madrid coach, however, was unequivocal – the Argentine was not interested in the proposed job. His current contract with the Spanish club runs until June 30, 2024, although it is rumored that he will leave after the end of the 2022/23 season.
– On Wednesday, a representative of Cezary Kulesza contacted Diego Simeone, but he was not interested. He wants to fulfill his contract with Atlético and the only national team he is interested in is Argentina. Kulesza says, however, that “you have to try” Kolton betrayed.
Roman Kołtoń also announced when we can expect the official announcement of the new coach. According to his information, the name will be announced in the second half of January.
