The Redmi Note series has once again reached a new milestone. Xiaomi claims to have sold more than 300 million units of Redmi Note smartphones globally. Some time ago, the company revealed that the sales of the Redmi Note series have exceeded 72 million units in India alone.
Currently, Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Redmi Note 12 series in international markets. The Indian division of the company has started promotions for the upcoming launch of this phone in the country.
As of October 2021, global sales of the Redmi Note series have reached 240 million units. Just over a year later, those sales figures had increased by 60 million units. The increase in sales of the Redmi Note series is likely due to the number of models the company has released.
Xiaomi is currently selling two different Redmi Note lineups, one for the Chinese market and one for the global market. The company also sells exclusive models in some regions. Therefore, it is difficult to predict the number of models that will be launched under one generation of Redmi Note right now.
According to some rumors, the Redmi Note 12 series for international markets will include at least four models, namely Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G.
