Recently the brain chip company he founded Neuralink released a recording on Friday (9/4/2021) showing a monkey plays the video game.
Although simple, apparently one monkey that’s after getting implanted new technology in the form of a chip implanted in his brain.
In the 3-minute video it was an experiment on monkey named Pager, known to be 9 years old and had a chip implanted every side of his brain was playing game Mind Pong.
“He learned to interact with a computer to get a delicious banana smoothie served through a straw,” said the narrator who narrated the video as Pager moved his cursor while looking at a TV screen using a joystick.
The Pager action video then became a global trending and took 29th place.
The pager controls the joystick handle by simply thinking about moving the hand up or down.
“The first @Neuralink product will allow someone with disabilities to use a smartphone with their mind faster than someone with a thumb,” tweeted Twitter. Elon Musk who claim Neuralink technology is able to make humans think faster with chips.
