After a few weeks of respite, the streets of the Marca they are once again marred by a fatal crash. It happened on the afternoon of today, March 9, shortly after 5.30 pm, in Pieve del Grappa along via Montenero. A 17-year-old boy, Vittorio Piva, riding an enduro bike loaned to him by a friend, lost control of the vehicle and crashed off the road, on the right side of the roadway, against the fence of a house and a pole of the public lighting. There was nothing for the student to do. Unfortunately, the aid of Suem 118 was useless. The carabinieri of the Pieve station are now investigating the tragedy. Vittorio Piva regularly wore a helmet and had a driving license.
He leaves his parents Gianmario and Stefania, as well as a sister, Eleonora. He lived with his family in Via Montenero, a few hundred meters from the accident site and attended the fourth grade of the “Parolini” agricultural institute in Bassano del Grappa.
Piva have always been very committed to community life and in particular to music. His father Gianmario is a column of the Crespano del Grappa Philharmonic and plays the bass-tuba, his wife the transverse flute while his son played the horn since 2018 and for him a future in the conservatory was also promised.
