The crash at the busy highway caused arduous delays in the middle of the morning rush hour for many on both sides of the Hudson River, authorities say.

It’s unclear what caused the crash, which occurred at about 6:45 a.m., on West Street in Union City near Kennedy Boulevard around 6:45 a.m.

It was also not immediately clear if anyone was injured. An ambulance was visible at the scene. From our 47 chopper’s point of view, it appeared that the bus and a van collided head-on and then the other vehicles were hit.
