Horror crash in Florida: “Looked like the whole thing had exploded”

“Boom. There was a cloud of dust, it looked like the whole thing had exploded,” said Brian McConnell, who witnessed the crash. Other drivers had to swerve to avoid being hit by the wreckage of the accident vehicles.

“If we hadn’t been a little further back and maintained a safe distance, it could have hit us,” eyewitness McConnell said with concern. “It’s really a fraction of a second that makes the difference.” (jba)
