The Toys for Bob studio wanted to clarify a point regarding Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, released last week. Expected October 2 on PS4 and Xbox One, the game will not ship any microtransaction.
Earlier this week, the discovery of “offers in-app purchases” on the page Microsoft Store of the game had suggested the presence of microtransactions. In the end, it will not be, as Toys for Bob confirms on Twitter:
There is some confusion about microtransactions in Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and we want to be clear. There are NO MICROTRANSACTIONS in the game. As a bonus, Totally Tubular appearances (for Crash and Coco) are included in all digital versions of the game

Presented as a “real sequel” to Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, released in 1998 on PlayStation, Crash Bandicoot 4 will not only embody Crash and Coco, launched in search of the four quantum masks, but also other characters like Neo Cortex. As reported IGN, the game would ship over a hundred levels, if we rely on an email sent by the GameStop reseller to its customers.
