Cransac. The city takes care of its communication

Accompanied by Olivier Martin Mussa, who, with Marie Line Delansay, oversees the communications committee within the municipal team, Cransac mayor Bernard Canac explained that “our municipal communications were somewhat aging and, above all, very improvable. We have two elected officials in our team, Marie Line and Olivier, who are competent in the use and management of IT tools. We have taken advantage of this to revisit all of our communications. This includes everything concerning our communications methods. The municipal bulletin, the Panneau Pocket application, Google Maps, the Facebook page, a promotional video and the website which should be operational at the end of the year.”

Olivier Martin Mussa, takes over for his technical presentation. “The old website was somewhat outdated, 10 years of existence and the future on which we are working will meet current standards. It will offer much more information on municipal life in all its diversity. From the administrative, for example with the downloading of official documents, tourism, accommodation, associations… That being said, we maintain and enrich the paper communication which results in the publication of the municipal bulletin that we distribute at the beginning of the year.”

Informations et promotion

There is also “Panneau Pocket”, a means of communication that is well received and well integrated by the population.

“In terms of new features, the Facebook page “Cransac Town Hall” that we created and which provides information in addition to the digital pocket panel tool. Everyone will be able to access it, even those who do not have a Facebook profile. However, it will be secure because only we will be able to distribute the communication. Then the promotional video, 2 min 45 sec long, which aims to ensure the presentation and promotion of our town in order to attract new residents. We have put together a scenario: a young family, a couple and two children who come from an urban center to go green in a pleasant place to live, with all the amenities and job prospects.”

The mayor of Cransac also explains that “when we have finalized our website, we will have reached the end of our communication policy, deliberately modern, secure and accessible to everyone.”
