Spectacular incident on the hour mark between Rangers and Slavia Prague.
As Rangers are led by Slavia Prague, Steven Gerrard called on Kemar Roofe to try to force the decision. The former Anderlechtois will not have accomplished a mission. Thrown in depth, the Jamaican lifted his foot too high and made a gesture much too dangerous on the opposing goalkeeper.
The referee logically excluded Kemar Roofe and poor Ondrej Kolar, face bleeding, had to leave the pitch on a stretcher. Face gashed, stunned, the last Czech bulwark reappeared on the bench at the end of the meeting with impressive bandages on the face.
Bloody Hell!!! Red card challenge from Roofe, as if the commentators have been debating it ???? pic.twitter.com/Cl2jKvq8pq
