Craig will look different at Halo Infinite launch

The sixth episode of the Master Chief saga, promises to answer all our questions that have been raised throughout these three video games that 343 Industries has been launching this last decade.

Due to the criticism received by the Halo Infinite gameplay shown at the Xbox Game Showcase, the studio led by Bonnie Ross decided to make the difficult decision to delay the game until 2021. With the aim of improving the aspects that were not expected for a product of the new generation of consoles and with this it has been confirmed that Craig, the brute who has been the subject of many very colorful memes on the internet, will look quite different from what we saw in July.

Craig will be completely remodeled

Thanks to post published a few days ago in Halo Waypoint we can know thanks to the statement given by the senior Conceptual Artist and Art Director of 343 Industries, Nicolas Bouvier, has confirmed that one of the visual aspects that are currently improving are that of the NPCs and therefore Craig will look unrecognizable on the title’s launch day.

NPC’s facial animation was not fully implemented in that version of the gameplay, which resulted in Craig’s incredibly lifeless aesthetic. There has been extensive work on material fidelity and more variety for the faces of the brutes, we are also working on adding hair and beards, which was something we did not have in July. So even though we’ve grown to love him, our dear old Craig will have a significant makeover.

Halo Infinite is expected to launch in Fall 2021 for Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and PC platforms. If you want to know more about this title, you will surely be interested to know that Joseph Staten has already completed the campaign mode.
