The apprentice, an asset for the company
Finding future recruits for your company is not always easy. It takes time and knowledge that not everyone has. Apprenticeship thus offers craftsmen the opportunity to take advantage of the fresh breath brought by young people. Because an apprentice trained in new technologies and digital, open to the world and to other skills, is undeniably an asset for today’s craft business. To find the right person, advisers from the Regional University of Trades and Crafts of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region advise companies in the different stages of recruiting apprentices trained on its seven campuses.

The objective of theURMA PACA is thus to create a true partnership relationship between the apprentice, the business manager and the CFA.
Beyond the technical training provided on its 7 campuses (Avignon, Digne-les-Bains, Gap, La Seyne-sur-Mer, Le Beausset, Les Arcs and Saint-Maximin), offer a selection of suitable candidates, advise craftsmen to properly recruit and integrate their apprentices is an integral part of the missions of the CMAR PACA.

Financial aid for artisans
To maintain the learning momentum, the government has extended financial aid for hiring apprentices. For contracts signed until June 30, 2022, aid is paid to companies with fewer than 250 employees, i.e. 5,000 euros for an apprentice under the age of 18 and 8,000 euros for an adult apprentice.
