Breweries in New York
Beer remains America’s favorite alcoholic beverage. It is also the United States that are at the origin of the creation of microbreweries and craft breweries in the 70s!
New York is home to more and more breweries mostly tucked away in the bustling neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens. Formerly dominated by industrial beers such as Budweiser, Corona or Bud Light, now it is craft beers that are gaining in popularity and attracting more and more amateurs. Moreover, 1 beer sold out of 8 belongs to the category of craft beers ( = craft beers) to USA.
More than 200 local producers are now present in the NY region and their number has been increasing for several years.
