Crack. CO² detectors at school

What will change this Monday at the start of the school year: end of the obligation to wear a mask outdoors for children and staff; authorization to practice physical and sports activities indoors without wearing a mask, but respecting a distance adapted according to the practice; relaxation of the rules limiting mixing; no more sworn statement of a negative test; only a self-test or antigenic test will have to be carried out two days after the last contact with a confirmed case, or at the time of information of the occurrence of the case if it occurs more than two days after the last contact. The health protocol will still remain heavy with the disinfection of the most frequently touched surfaces, the ventilation of the premises, the washing of hands and all this several times a day…

The company IMCNE – Chartier Electricité from Fideille has installed carbon dioxide (CO²) detectors in the classrooms, the dormitory and the canteen. To ensure everyone’s comfort, these sensors are equipped with three indicator lights, an audible alarm, an ambient temperature detector and a humidity meter. The installation of this equipment costs €805.39 including tax. The Academic Department of National Education Services of Aude should subsidize this equipment at the rate of 8 € per child.
