The hat-trick was inscribed by the Portuguese player through his goals in the 10th, 25th and 32nd minutes. Cagliari were only able to reply once through Giovani Simeone’s goal in the 61st minute. Juve won 3-1.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo’s shining light through that achievement was also a negative spotlight for an incident in the match against Cagliari, when his leg slammed into the face of goalkeeper Alessio Cragno. Ronaldo gets a yellow card, but there is netizen on social media who think it’s not enough.
A number of accounts on Twitter have questioned why Ronaldo didn’t get a red card. His action of lifting his legs too high is a very dangerous potential for the opponent. Moreover, Cragno’s face was seen bleeding from the impact. There are also those who insinuate that Ronaldo is given special treatment from Serie A.
This incident was also discussed by Luca Marelli, a former Serie A referee. In line with a number of opinions netizen, he called Cristiano Ronaldo deserves a red card.
