CPM Worker Killed in Bomb Making Incident: DYFI Leader Arrested in Kannur, Kerala

Kannur | A local leader of DYFI was arrested in the incident where a CPM worker was killed in an explosion while making a bomb in Panur. DYFI Meethale Kunnothuparam unit secretary Amal Babu was taken into custody by the police. According to the police, he directly participated in the bomb making.

Mithunlal was in Bengaluru when the incident took place. He was arrested from Bengaluru. The police had arrested four suspects including Sayuj yesterday in connection with the incident. The three other arrested persons are Shabinlal (27) in Tinchukootiparamparam in Chudangaram Atunduktiyawayal, Atul (30) in Akshyam in Central Kunnothuparam, and Arun (29) in Chendayat Patantathazha Tharullakandi. Sayuj is caught from Palakkad while escaping to Coimbatore.
