CPI Urges Rahul Gandhi to Leave Wayanad for Stronger Fight Against BJP

Thiruvananthapuram – CPI has demanded that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should not contest in Wayanad in this year’s Lok Sabha elections. CPI State Secretary Binoy Vishwam demanded that the Congress should decide whether to shift the battle ground to Kerala. He asked whether Rahul Gandhi should leave North India, the main battleground, and contest in Wayanad, where not a single BJP candidate has won. Binoy Vishwam also stated in the press conference that if he gets an opportunity for discussion in the India Front meeting, he will present this matter.

The CPI is not only thinking about four seats in the upcoming general elections. The Left Party wants to win all the 20 seats in Kerala. The Bharatiya Janata Party should bring down the BJP government at the center. All 20 MPs in Kerala must be left-wing if India wants to form a coalition government. If it becomes Congress, they will fall for the tactics of BJP. Binoy Vishwam pointed out that the Left will not fall for any trick or money grab.
