Cowboys’ Mike McCarthy reveals if Micah Parsons, CeeDee Lamb will play in Week 10

Lawrence is on the disabled list with a foot injury and Parsons has been out with a sprained ankle. To make matters worse, star receiver CeeDee Lamb left Week 9 after suffering a shoulder injury. Now, Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy has offered a big update on both star players.

McCarthy spoke to reporters and revealed that Parsons will return to training for the first time in weeks. However, it will be “limited”. McCarthy revealed the same thing about Lamb.

McCarthy revealed that they will be careful with Lamb and Parsons. The team needs to be careful if it wants to ensure its most influential players deal with nagging injuries.

Ankle sprains can be tricky, and although Parsons had previously tried to return, the coaching and training staff suspended him. Now it appears he is healthy enough to practice, although he will be limited.

Getting Lamb and Lawrence back will be huge for the team, which is currently dealing with several missing players. Dak Prescott was also injured in Week 9 and was found to have a significant hamstring injury. While he hasn’t been placed on the injured list yet, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed that it’s “likely” the team will go that route.

Cooper Rush is the presumed starter for the future. He arrived Sunday and threw for 115 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys came close to beating the Atlanta Falcons, but lost 27-21.

The Cowboys are now 3-5 on the season and are quickly falling into a competitive NFC conference and their own NFC East division. Without Prescott, the team is already in a much worse position.

If Lamb can’t suit up again, along with Lamb, the Cowboys will lose three of their most important players. Cornerback DaRon Bland is also trying to recover from a stress fracture suffered in training camp.

As things stand right now, the Cowboys have their backs against the wall and will have to find a way to get some wins.

According to McCarthy’s press, it appears the Cowboys could still get Parsons and Lamb back on the field by Sunday. They definitely need both players healthy to defeat the up-and-coming Philadelphia Eagles.
