Cowboys crush Bears on Tony Pollard’s three touchdowns

The Cowboys had touchdowns on each of their first four drives of the game and Tonny Pollard had an epic afternoon scoring three touchdowns as Dallas beat the Chicago Bears 49-29 on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.

The last time Dallas scored touchdowns in the first four drives of a game was in the 2014 season against the Indianapolis Colts.

The first-half hunt against the Bears was led by quarterback Dak Prescott with two touchdown passes and a quick seven-yard touchdown with the ball in his arms.

Prescott finished the game with 250 yards, 27 out of 21 completions, two touchdown passes and an intercepted pass.

Another of Dallas’ four consecutive touchdowns came on an 18-yard run from Tony Pollard, who shone on the court with 131 yards from 14 carries.

The Cowboys put together impressive offensive performance despite the absence of running back Ezekiel Elliott with a knee injury and catcher Noah Brown with a foot injury.

“I am very happy with the way we started the game, it is what we have prepared during the week and it has worked for us,” said the coach of the Cowboys. Mike McCarty.

“It’s one of the most complete games we’ve had this year,” he said.

On his fifth drive of the game, Prescott suffered an intercepted pass on his own 24-yard line which the Bears capitalized on a field goal for both teams to enter the halftime interval with a score of 28-17 in favor of the .texano team

In the third quarter of play, the Cowboys struck their sixth win of the season when linebacker Micah Parsons recovered a fumble at Chicago’s 36-yard line to cross the enemy end zone.

In the fourth quarter, Pollard put the exclamation mark on his great performance on Sunday by going 54 yards for his third touchdown of the match.

“Tony is a very disciplined running back who has devastating speed on opposing defenses, we are very lucky to have him and today he took the lead we expect from him,” said McCarthy.

“Tony lived up to the expectations we have come to expect from him,” said the Cowboys manager.

With the win, Dallas solidified his position in second place in the NFC East by taking his record to 6-2.

The Cowboys rest the next day and then play two away games, in Green Bay and Minnesota.

Dallas returns home until Thanksgiving Thursday, November 24, to host the New York Giants.
