Of the 609 companies evaluated worldwide, only 156, or the top 25.6%, were selected, and only 36 companies from South Korea made the list.
Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) evaluate the sustainability performance and environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts of the world’s leading companies to help investors make sustainable decisions.
In addition to being on the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index for the 11th consecutive year, Coway is also on the Dow Jones Sustainability Korea Index for the 6th consecutive year. Coway is the only Korean company included in the DJSI Asia Pacific Index in the DHP Household Durables industry.
Coway received excellent ratings for customer relationship management, product quality and recall management, and environmental policies and management systems.
