The brothers Frans and Gerrie Derks were injured in a fight in Groesbeek on Saturday evening. The two operate the meeting room complex with terrace on Cranenburgsestraat. Around 9.15 pm a fight broke out, in which glass was also allegedly thrown. Frans and Gerrie Derks had to be treated by ambulance personnel. A video with images of the attack is widely shared in the village.
The police are still investigating. Police would not say whether a report has been filed. No arrests have been made yet. Slinkman expects the video to help with that. “This is all well documented.”
