“Cow on the Loose: Michigan Police and Cowboys Catch Runaway Animal Near Busy Highway”

Police in the US state of Michigan almost had to take the bull by the horns when they received reports of a runaway cow dangerously close to a busy highway near Detroit.

The police blocked the road just in case. Cowboys were enlisted to catch the runaway cow.

Initially, the cow had got stuck in a gravel pit. The policemen together with the cowboys managed to free the animal from it, but instead of being grateful, the cow ran away.

The fugitive went in the direction of the highway, where the policemen were already waiting for her. A cowboy on horseback followed the cow’s footsteps, trying to catch the fugitive with a lasso.

The animal was eventually captured and returned to the farm.

“The cattle were not charged and are back in the pasture with a story to tell the rest of the livestock,” quipped the Michigan State Police.
