About one in six adults in the United States – 43 million people, 16.7% of the adult population – have been vaccinated against the Coronavirus. This is what emerges from the data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Cdc). In all 121 million doses were administered. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared the use of three vaccines, Pfizer, Moderna – both have two doses – and Johnson & Johnson, which has only one dose. Over 21 million adults already vaccinated have received the Pfizer antidote, 19.7 million Moderna, 2.15 million Johnson & Johnson, most recently approved.
