COVID Today, Jan. 30, in Thailand 930 more cases, 17,953 cumulative infections, 1 death.

Center for the Outbreak of Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) or B.C. Today’s COVID situation report (30 Jan 2021) has 930 new cases in Thailand.

Among the 916 domestic infections were from 27 new patients from surveillance and service systems and 889 of those infected from proactive search in the community. State Quarantine 11 cases, and were 3 from Malaysia.

This resulted in a cumulative 17,953 confirmed cases, 11,505 cases disappeared, and one additional death today resulted in the cumulative death toll at 77.

The 77th death toll was a male patient. Myanmar nationality, age 31, occupation, residing and working in Samut Sakhon Province, the underlying disease is cirrhosis and chronic alcohol dependence. Having a history of risk by working with confirmed patients prior to 15 Dec ’20, having fever and being admitted to the hospital. COVID-19 was detected, confirmed on 30 Dec ’20 and died on 27 Jan ’20.
