Every week, the Professional Health Community (CPTS) of the Emerald Coast publishes a newsletter Covid pointing the evolution of PCR positive rate carried out in the living area of Saint-Malo and Dinan (health territory 6).
Rising positivity rate
After a certain stability or even a slight decline the previous week (4.3%), the positivity rate for PCR tests carried out 6 from August 2 to 8, 2021 is on the rise again. It stands at 6.2%, knowing that 405 of the 6,536 tests carried out in the sectors of Saint-Malo and Dinan gave a positive result for the Covid. As a reminder, 276 people had tested positive out of 6,361 samples taken from July 26 to August 1.
The positivity rate is on the rise this week in all sampling centers. The increase is more marked in Dol-de-Bretagne, Combourg, Tinténiac and Dinan-Quévert, where the rates were very low the previous week. The coastal towns of Saint-Malo and Dinard recorded a much more measured increase.
6 hospitalized patients
From August 2 to 8, six patients were hospitalized: 2 were in intensive care at the Saint-Malo hospital, 4 were hospitalized on the GHT Rance Emeraude.
