Covid patients are required to consult if symptoms occur during isomania

Patient Covid-19 who are undergoing self-isolation must consult and report their condition, whether they have symptoms or not, to doctors or medical personnel.

This step is so that Covid-19 patients who are isoman also get the right treatment. Therefore, Covid-19 patients undergoing self-isolation, especially those with symptoms, are not recommended to immediately take any medication without consulting a doctor.

It is known, for some time circulating on social media about prescription drugs that are claimed for Covid-19 sufferers.

“For patients who are self-isolating, it is better to have someone monitor it from the local health center at least, so that it can be seen whether there is an improvement, or if it has decreased,” said doctor Muhammad Yusuf Ginanjar from RSUD R. Syamsudin Sukabumi, as quoted by Antara.

“So if there is a decrease, we can immediately consult whether it should be taken to the hospital or not,” he added

This consultation is also needed to adjust the needs of medicines consumed by Covid-19 patients who are self-isolating at home.

In addition to those with symptoms, patients who have comorbidities and fall into vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, the elderly, and children are also required to consult in order to get treatment for self-isolation and medicines adapted to their bodies or congenital diseases.

“The condition of patients who are confirmed to be Covid-19 accompanied by comorbid diseases, and vulnerable conditions such as pregnancy or the elderly are highly recommended to consult first before self-isolation,” said Yusuf.

“Because it is related to the conditions of the previous illnesses, will it be possible to be isoman or not.”

The common symptoms experienced by Covid-19 patients include headache, sore throat, runny nose, fever, cough which is generally a dry cough, fatigue, anorexia, loss of sense of smell (anosmia), loss of sense of taste (ageusia), bone pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, eye inflammation, redness of the skin, up to a respiratory rate of 12-20 times per minute.

Other symptoms that may arise are shortness of breath and chest pain that has entered the category of moderate to severe symptoms.

Currently, Covid-19 patients who are in self-isolation can consult via telemedicine services. The Ministry of Health announced that there are 11 telemedicine services that can be accessed by the public to consult before undergoing self-isolation as a treatment if they are tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Among them are KlikDokter, AloDokter, GoodDoctor, Halodoc, Klinikgo, SehatQ, YesDok, ProSehat, LinkSehat, MILVIK, and Getwell.

Covid-19 patients with mild symptoms who are self-isolating will receive assistance in the form of drug packages to help the Covid-19 recovery process.

There are also drugs that were previously announced to be distributed through 11 telemedicine services for self-isolated Covid-19 patients, namely Vitamin C, D, E and Zinc for asymptomatic patients.

Meanwhile, patients with mild symptoms will receive a vitamin package along with antibiotics, antiviral drugs, or fever reducers.
