Timrå IK has found covid infection in the squad.
Now two more SHL matches are postponed.
Earlier on Wednesday, the SHL announced that five matches will have their game dates changed due to covid-19 infection in the team.
And at lunchtime it was clear that another couple of matches would have to be postponed.
When Timrå defeated Linköping on Monday, two players were missing due to illness, and the team did not train on Tuesday or Wednesday before announcing that they had found infection in the squad.
This means that Thursday’s match against Färjestad and Saturday’s match against Luleå are postponed to another date.
– Due to the prevailing covid situation, we choose to close down the operations around the A-team. Renewed test rounds are planned in the future and the business will remain closed until we can safely resume it, says Timrå’s team doctor Christian Johansson to the club’s website.
The following match that should have been played on January 27 is moved forward:
Färjestad – Timrå
The following matches that should have been played on January 29 are moved forward, where a new playing date will be announced shortly:
Timrå – Luleå
Leksand – Oskarshamn
Frölunda – Färjestad
The next match that should have been played on January 18 has been given a new playing date:
Färjestad – Oskarshamn: moved to Saturday, January 29, 18:00
