Covid, off to the super Green pass: record of certificates downloaded in 24 hours

The vast majority of green passes downloaded, almost 970 thousand, are linked to vaccinations. An unequivocal signal that the entry into force of the new restrictions led to a first result: to further reduce the number of unvaccinated people. We will see in the coming days if the effect continues, just as we will have to wait for next Monday to get the first data on the controls and to understand if the Italians have adapted or not to the new prohibitions. Looking at how the first day went, however, the impression is that the majority welcomed the new course. Apart from the controls, which as expected were soft and limited.

Boom of first doses, in Lazio they doubled

“The good news is that in the last two weeks we have practically obtained about 390 thousand new vaccinates”, highlights Nino Cartabellotta, president of the Gimbe Foundation, according to whom “if this type of vaccination increase were to be maintained, within two months they will only be left the irreducible ones not to get vaccinated “.

“We have had a 39% increase in vaccines administered in the last week – says the councilor for Health of the Lazio Region, Alessio D’Amato -, even in the first doses that have doubled, so there is certainly a boost also linked to upon the entry into force of the new instruments “. Positive trend, albeit more contained, in Lombardy, with 32 thousand first doses in a week, and in the other Regions, while the vice president of Federfarma, Alfredo Procaccini, assures that the increase in the first vaccinations is also evident in pharmacies.

Booster after 5 months for vaccinated patients Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health clarifies that in subjects vaccinated before or after an infection, the administration of a booster dose is indicated, provided that a minimum interval of at least five months has elapsed. The document also reiterates the advice to be vaccinated within 12 months of recovery for those who have never been vaccinated and to still take the second dose if the infection was contracted within the first 14 days from the first dose.
