Good news despite the Covid epidemic … The governor of New York State announced Monday, February 22 that cinemas would be able to reopen their doors on March 5, 2021, after a year of closure due to the crisis sanitary. A reopening which will be done with a maximum of 25% of the reception capacity, and a limit of 50 spectators per room.

Good news that could inspire the government … The governor of the state of New York, in the United States, announced Monday, February 22 that theaters cinema would be able to reopen their doors on March 5, 2021. But a reopening which must be done under certain conditions: a maximum tonnage has been established at 25% of the reception capacity of each establishment, to which is added a maximum of 50 people per room.

A decision that was taken after a year of closure, while the contamination curve is down, back to its level of early December 2020. But the cinemas state are they ready? Not all of them, if we are to believe some rooms which have announced that they prefer to remain closed. The reason ? The gauge too low, causing them to open at a loss, and the absence of big movies and other blockbusters attracting crowds.

And in the rest of the country? AT San Francisco, cinemas have reopened since October, but like New York operators, many have preferred to remain closed. AT The Angels, on the other hand, no reopening is planned for the moment due to the explosion in the number of cases and the difficulty in lowering the contamination curves.
