This is the goal of the initiative of the Gesco group of social enterprises. who decided to support general practitioners in Naples for the free administration of rapid swabs at home.
The group has in fact signed a protocol with the territorial functional aggregations that unite 41 general practitioners from district 32 (Barra, San Giovanni, Ponticelli) of the ASL Napoli 1 Centro. From Gesco it is estimated that a catchment area of about 3,200 people will be reached starting next week, the tampon will be administered by the group’s nurses.
“This is an important agreement that we trust can be replicated in other territories – explained the president of the group of social enterprises, Sergio d’Angelo – and with other general practitioners, because the tampon remains the only possible tool to prevent the onset of outbreaks, limit the infection and protect the families of positive people “.
The agreement is part of the tisostengo campaign promoted by Gesco to offer home support to people in difficulty or isolated. The campaign provides for the possibility of requesting the administration of the tampon or the delivery of drugs and shopping for those unable to move from their home, through a dedicated call center, from Monday to Friday from 9 to 18, by calling 081 563 6217.
