Following the latest ordinance adopted by the President of the Sicilian Region on initiatives to combat the spread of Coronavirus, the Regional Health Department has developed the following answers to the most frequently asked questions on the contagion containment measures to be applied within the Municipalities in “orange zone”.
Movements:
Movements are allowed if motivated by proven work needs, by situations of need, for health reasons, to return to one’s home, home or residence, as well as to take advantage of the permitted activities.
For those who are not in possession of a valid green certification, or are not exempt, the restrictions on travel from 10 pm to 5 am of the following day (so-called curfew) apply.
Permitted activities:
– Catering:
Outdoor catering is permitted and, in general, the administration of food and beverages (bars, pizzerias, pubs, pastry shops, bakeries and the like).
In the indoor premises, the service and consumption at the table is, on the other hand, allowed only to customers with valid green certification or to those who are exempt.
The maximum limit of diners at the table is four people, a limit that does not apply to cohabitants.
Furthermore, the sale of take-away food and drinks is also allowed to customers without green certification, for whom the ban on table service and consumption in closed rooms remains.
Home delivery is always allowed.
The closing time is independent from that foreseen for the “curfew”. The restaurant business, from 10pm to 5am the following day, is allowed only for customers with valid green certification.
– Sports and physical activities:
It is allowed to carry out outdoor sports or motor activities, even in equipped areas and public parks, where accessible, provided that the interpersonal safety distance of at least two meters for sports activities is respected, and at least one meter for any other activity. This measure does not apply where the presence of an accompanying person is necessary for minors or for people who are not completely self-sufficient.
The activities of gyms, swimming pools, swimming centers also in covered facilities and wellness centers are allowed, in compliance with the protocols and guidelines in force, exclusively to subjects with valid green certification.
– Business:
Retail commercial activities are allowed on condition that the interpersonal distance of at least one meter is guaranteed, that the entrances take place in a delayed manner and that it is prevented from staying inside the premises longer than the time necessary for purchases. Commercial activities must be carried out in compliance with sector protocols and guidelines.
The activities of the establishments present in markets and centers, galleries and commercial parks and other similar structures can also take place on holidays and pre-holidays, in compliance with the protocols and guidelines of the sector.
– Spas, theme and amusement parks:
Spa activities are permitted in compliance with the protocols and guidelines in force.
The activities of theme and amusement parks, playgrounds and playrooms as well as traveling shows are also permitted, in compliance with the protocols and guidelines in force.
Access is allowed only to subjects with valid green certification.
– Cultural centers, social and recreational centers, dance halls, parties and ceremonies:
The activities of cultural centers, social and recreational centers and associations of the Third sector are allowed.
Parties resulting from civil or religious ceremonies, outdoors or indoors, are also permitted, including those organized through catering and banqueting services. The maximum limit of diners at the table is four people, which is not valid for cohabitants.
The above activities must be carried out in compliance with the protocols and guidelines in force and are allowed only to subjects with valid green certification.
Activities that take place in dance halls and discos and similar venues, outdoors or indoors, are prohibited.
– Game rooms, betting rooms, bingo halls and casinos:
The activities of amusement arcades, betting rooms, bingo halls and casinos are allowed, even if carried out within premises used for different activities, in compliance with the protocols and guidelines and exclusively for subjects with valid green certification.
– Museums, places of culture and shows open to the public:
Visits to exhibitions and museums, as well as access to libraries, are only permitted for individuals with green certification.
Shows open to the public are permitted in theatrical halls, concert halls, cinemas, entertainment venues and live music and in other venues or spaces, including outdoors, provided that they are carried out exclusively with pre-assigned seating and that it is the respect of the interpersonal distance of at least one meter is ensured, both for spectators who are not habitually cohabiting, and for the staff. Access is allowed only to subjects with valid green certification.
– Fairs, conferences, congresses and festivals:
In compliance with the protocols and guidelines in force, it is allowed to hold fairs, conferences, congresses and festivals with access reserved for subjects in possession of valid green certification.
– Accommodation facilities:
The activities of the accommodation facilities are carried out on condition that the interpersonal distancing of one meter is ensured in the common areas, in compliance with the protocols and guidelines in force
